The Rebel Honor Guard was a unit of rebel soldiers that were used to protect Rebel leaders and former Imperial senators that defected to the Alliance to Restore the Republic during the Galactic Civil War. Several members of the Honor Guard were originally members of the Senate Commandos and the Blue Guard from the Galactic Republic before it became an Empire. Some Honor Guards were used in battles, such as the Battle of Bespin, during which they protected Rebel leaders, such as General Leia Organa and Lando Calrissian.
