Snowspeeders were units of T-47 airspeeders that were heavily modified by the Alliance to Restore the Republic during their stay on the ice planet of Hoth. Several snowspeeders were used by the rebellion during the Battle of Hoth, and would destroy several Imperial AT-AT walkers, but would be unable to achieve a victory for the rebels.
