Jedi Knights were member of the Jedi Order that were skilled in the ways of the Force. Along with the other Jedi, they were known as the Guardians of Peace and Justice over the Republic and the rest of the galaxy. Several Knights served as Jedi Generals during the Clone Wars, aiding the Republic in their fight against the Confederacy of Independent Systems. After the rise of the Galactic Empire, Jedi Knights that survived Order 66 were known to aid the early rebellion and the Alliance to Restore the Republic. The most notable Jedi Knight that fought for the Rebellion, is Luke Skywalker, who would go on to aid in the final battles against the Empire before its fall at the Battle of Endor.
