Mon Mothma was an member of Republic senate during the Clone Wars and later Imperial senate following the war's end. Along with one of her closest friends, Bail Organa, Mon Mothma would aid in transforming The rebellion into the Alliance to Restore the Republic, eventually becoming its sole living founder after the death of Bail Organa on Alderaan. She would later help organize the Battle of Endor with Gial Ackbar and also, after the rebel's victory against the Empire, would aid in forming the New Republic.
